A New Kitten . . . (Katie Kitten)

katie kitten (louise) text me last night at 11.30pm to tell me to tell you all she's had a litter of one.
a little boy, josef jack, 8lb 14oz, born 5.55am on nov 15th.. she apparently had a long and somewhat rough time of it and is gonna be in hospital a day or two.. i'll be the first to say congratulations.

How does anyone know about what people do? I don't get it. Am I the only sneaky one? In any congregation I've ever been in, I could get away with anything as long as I was careful and didn't get caught. How do you get caught, anyway, if you're alone and don't tell on yourself?

Cat is in trouble- advice?
by Insomniac inmy mom's cat got into some of her embroidery floss and swallowed it.. this was maybe three days ago.
her vet won't see him, too busy.
he's not eating much at all now, and i fear the worst.

Did You Feel That Jehovah Blessed or Punished You?
by minimus inwere you one of those witnesses that believed anything good that happened was because jehovah god was blessing you and when something bad happened, it was evidence of "no blessings"??

Neither blessed nor punished. Completely absent from my life. Refused to answer any prayers. Never there!
I have always felt that Jehovah was just yanking my chain because when I would pray, he seemed to never listen. I was admonished to keep praying, so I did. Didn't help. I worked along with my prayers and guess what? They were answered. I finally realized that I was the one answering my own prayers and that JH had nothing to do with it. What loving parent would expect this begging from their child before giving her/him what the child desparately needed? I eventually stopped believing he (sure he is a male???) was ever there in the first place. We got here somehow, but...

most disturbing movie scene you've seen?
by knock knock ini haven't seen this topic on here so i thought i'd.... hmmm, maybe it's because it's just too disturbing?
to me, the scene in saving private ryan - the two soldiers in the small upstairs room fighting hand to hand to the death (by stabbing).
i think that is the most disturbing thing i've seen on screen and there were plenty just in that film alone.

Last of the Mohecans when a heart was cut out of a person and held up still beating. Also same movie: A person screaming tied to a grate over a raging fire. Sick movie. Couldn't get through it, but dad loved it. Yuck! Shudder.
